Workspaces and roles
A workspace is the container for everything your team shares in Dockable — videos, documents, collections, doc requests, and members. Working solo, you have one workspace and rarely think about it. On a team, it's the boundary of "us".
Roles
Every member has a role that sets what they can do:
- Owner — the workspace's creator-level account. Full control, including team management and every video regardless of restrictions.
- Admin — team management and full content control; also always sees restricted videos.
- Editor — can create, edit, and manage content: record, upload, edit videos, generate documents, and change a video's access controls.
- Member / viewer — can watch, search, and ask; consumption rather than management.
Inviting teammates
From Team in the sidebar, send an invite by email. When a teammate joins, they see the workspace's Library immediately — minus anything gated by access controls.
Audience tags
Also managed from Team: audience tags (like managers or support)
attach to members and pair with per-video restricted access. Tag the person
once, and every video gated to that tag opens up to them.
FAQ
Can one person be in multiple workspaces?
Yes — an account can belong to several workspaces, each fully separate.
Who can delete a video?
Owners, admins, and editors. Deletion removes the video and everything generated from it, so it's not a viewer-level power.
