Not everything worth documenting happens on a screen. Equipment setup, a warehouse process, a hardware fix — film it on your phone, narrating as you go, and it becomes searchable documentation like any screen recording.
Setting up mobile upload
- In the dashboard, open Settings → Mobile Upload.
- Generate an upload link and open it on your phone (scan or send it to yourself).
- From the phone page, record or pick a video from your camera roll and upload.
The upload lands in your Library and processes exactly like any other video — transcript, summary, documents, search.
Tip: Phone videos are usually MP4, which means they're also eligible for Eye Contact AI if you filmed yourself talking.

Do I need the Dockable app on my phone?
No app — the upload link works in your phone's browser.
Does narration matter here too?
More than ever. The camera sees the physical work; your voice is what makes it searchable. Talk through what you're doing as you film.
